The design process can be lengthy, especially if you are undertaking an extensive renovation, so having a connection and being on the same page from day one is a very good idea.

The duration of each project varies based on the individual scope of work. Design-only projects can take a matter of weeks, whereas a big project can take up to 12 months or more. On average projects take approximately a few weeks to six months.

Yes, for those who are not local or are short on time, consultations can be conducted over Zoom.

Many of our clients come to us because they aren’t sure which direction to take or are struggling to narrow down a number of different possibilities. Don’t underestimate how difficult this can be! We listen to and work with you to distill your wants, needs and desires into a cohesive, engaging style that is uniquely yours.

We work closely with our clients so that we can get to know exactly what look your are after. Additionally, all designs must be signed off and approved by the client prior to any selections being made.

That is completely up to you. We can organise all tradespeople for you, or we can work with the tradespeople you have organised. We are happy to be as involved as you would like us to be.

It’s very difficult to put an exact price on any kitchen or bathroom renovation, as the rooms should always be designed to meet the unique needs of your family and the way you live and intend to use the space. But there are a few items that can affect the overall price of your project, and these include:

Do you require any structural work such as moving or removing walls or adding or enlarging windows?

Will you require council approval for your renovation?

Do you have a feature item on your “must have” list? For example, a large piece of marble on your island bench.

Will the new kitchen or bathroom be substantially larger than the existing kitchen or bathroom?

Will you re-use your existing appliances or purchase new ones?

Are you looking for a makeover rather than a complete renovation?

Are there technology items you wish to incorporate? For example, soft-close drawers or lift hinge systems.

What work needs to be done to the floor and/or walls to complete the look?

The design process starts with an on site consultation. We measure your existing space, then we understand your needs and requirements and design a layout to suit the function and look of your space. We make material, colour and hardware recommendations. You receive hand-drawn scale plans and elevations of the space. 3D CAD drawings available at an additional price.

We understand that each project is unique — that’s why we spend time understanding the project brief and scope at the Initial Consultation. This enables us to form a project specific Scope of Works and Fee Proposal. This fixed fee is individually calculated based upon the estimated amount of working hours of the project scope.
